About The Position
The Food & Nutrition Service Associate II is a support services employee responsible for cleanliness, organization, and distribution of food and supplies in the Food & Nutrition Department. The role provides excellent customer service to patients and employees and may provide training and guidance to other employees performing related work. The associate performs assigned competencies, meets mutually agreed-upon annual performance goals, integrates ethics into practice, and adheres to confidentiality and patient-rights policies. Work must be completed within acceptable time limits, with accuracy and completeness, while setting priorities and handling several tasks simultaneously during peak workloads. The associate maintains a clean, organized work area.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the Food & Nutrition Department.
- Distribute food and supplies.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and employees.
- May train and guide other employees performing related work.
- Perform competencies listed on the Competency Checklist.
- Meet mutually agreed-upon annual performance goals and objectives.
- Integrate ethics into all areas of practice and follow confidentiality and patient-rights policies.
- Complete work within acceptable time limits, set priorities, and handle several tasks simultaneously during peak workloads.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of work and maintain a clean, organized work area.
