About The Position
The Food & Nutrition Food Service Worker II is a support services employee responsible for cleanliness, organization, and distribution of food and supplies in the Food & Nutrition Department. The role provides excellent customer service to patients and employees and may provide training and guidance to other employees performing related work. The employee demonstrates competencies listed on the Competency Checklist and works toward mutually agreed-upon annual performance goals and objectives. The role also requires integrating ethics into practice, adhering to confidentiality and patient-rights policies, completing work within acceptable time limits, setting priorities, handling several tasks simultaneously during peak workload, ensuring accuracy and completeness, and maintaining a clean, organized work area.

Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the Food & Nutrition Department and work area.
- Distribute food and supplies.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and employees.
- Provide training and guidance to other employees performing related work, as needed.
- Demonstrate required competencies and meet mutually agreed-upon annual performance goals and objectives.
