About The Position
The Food & Nutrition Food Service Worker II is a support services employee responsible for cleanliness, organization, and distribution of food and supplies in the Food & Nutrition Department. The associate provides excellent customer service to patients and employees and may train and guide other employees performing related work. The role requires completing work accurately and within acceptable time limits, setting priorities, and handling several tasks simultaneously during peak workloads. The associate maintains an organized work area, adheres to ethics, confidentiality, and patient-rights policies, demonstrates required competencies, and meets mutually agreed annual performance goals and objectives.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the Food & Nutrition Department.
- Distribute food and supplies.
- Provide customer service to patients and employees.
- Provide training and guidance to other employees performing related work, as needed.
- Complete work accurately and within acceptable time limits.
- Set priorities and perform several tasks simultaneously during peak workload situations.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Adhere to ethics, confidentiality, and patient-rights policies.
- Demonstrate competencies listed on the Competency Checklist and meet annual performance goals and objectives.
