About The Position

The Food & Nutrition Food Service Worker II is a support services employee responsible for cleanliness, organization, and distribution of food and supplies in the Food & Nutrition Department. The role provides excellent customer service to patients and employees and may train and guide other employees performing related work. The employee demonstrates required competencies, meets mutually agreed-upon annual performance goals, integrates ethics into practice, and follows confidentiality and patient-rights policies. The position requires completing work within acceptable time limits, setting priorities, handling several tasks simultaneously during peak workloads, ensuring accuracy and completeness, and maintaining a clean, organized work area.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the Food & Nutrition Department and work area.
• Distribute food and supplies.
• Provide customer service to patients and employees.
• May train and guide employees performing related work.
• Demonstrate competencies listed on the Competency Checklist and meet annual performance goals.
• Integrate ethics into work and adhere to confidentiality and patient-rights policies.
• Complete work within acceptable time limits, set priorities, and handle multiple tasks during peak workloads.
• Ensure work is accurate and complete.
