About The Position

The Food and Nutrition Service Associate II is a support services employee in the Food & Nutrition Department, responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization and distributing food and supplies. The role provides excellent customer service to patients and employees and may train and guide other employees performing related work. The associate performs assigned competencies, works toward mutually agreed-upon annual performance goals, integrates ethics into practice, and follows confidentiality and patient-rights policies. The role requires completing work within acceptable time limits, setting priorities, handling several tasks during peak workloads, ensuring accuracy and completeness, and maintaining a clean, organized work area.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the Food & Nutrition Department.
• Distribute food and supplies.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and employees.
• May provide training and guidance to employees performing related work.
• Perform competencies listed on the Competency Checklist and work toward annual performance goals.
• Follow ethical practices, confidentiality requirements, and patient-rights policies.
• Complete work within acceptable time limits, set priorities, and handle multiple tasks during peak workloads.
• Ensure work is accurate and complete and maintain a clean, organized work area.
