About The Position

The Food and Nutrition Associate II is a support services employee in the Food & Nutrition Department, responsible for cleanliness, organization, and distribution of food and supplies. The role provides excellent customer service to patients and employees and may train and guide other employees performing related work. The associate is expected to meet established competency and performance goals; integrate ethics into practice; protect confidentiality and patients’ rights; complete work within acceptable time limits; set priorities; handle multiple tasks during peak workloads; ensure accuracy and completeness; and maintain a clean, organized work area. A high school graduate or equivalent is preferred. The position is with St. David’s Medical Center in Central Austin, part of St. David’s HealthCare.

Requirements

High school graduation or equivalent is preferred.
Demonstrated ability to perform competencies listed on the Competency Checklist.
Ability to complete work within acceptable time limits, set priorities, multitask during peak workloads, and ensure accuracy and completeness.
Adherence to ethics, confidentiality, and patients’ rights policies.
