About The Position
Falcon Farms is hiring a part-time Flower Merchandiser to maintain attractive floral displays at assigned stores. The role represents Falcon Farms in each store, works directly with clients, and involves working independently while coordinating with local teams. A planned route and tools are provided. The schedule is Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m., with pay of $40 per visit. The position includes paid training in flower handling and a mobile phone allowance. Medical, dental, and vision benefits are available to full-time employees. The merchandiser maintains and restocks displays, monitors inventory, communicates with a supervisor using a mobile device, and interacts professionally with store employees, managers, and customers. The role also includes supporting stores during peak floral seasons, participating in display setups and department resets, and assisting teammates with special activities when needed. Availability during peak season, November through May, is required.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to read, write, and understand instructions in English.
- Reliable transportation to assigned locations.
- Internet access and a smartphone.
- Availability to work during peak season from November to May.
- Ability to frequently lift and move boxes weighing up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to bend, stretch, and lift products above shoulder height.
- Ability to walk and stand for most of the shift.
Responsibilities
- Keep flower displays immaculate and attractive.
- Restock and organize flowers and monitor inventory.
- Use a mobile device to communicate with a supervisor and report activities.
- Interact professionally and in a friendly manner with employees, managers, and customers.
- Prepare stores for peak demand during occasions such as Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, and Christmas.
- Set up new displays and make inventory adjustments when necessary.
- Support teammates with special activities when needed.
