About The Position

Falcon Farms is hiring a part-time Flower Merchandiser to visit assigned stores in Jerseyville II, Illinois. The merchandiser represents Falcon Farms in each store, works independently while collaborating with local teams, and helps create attractive floral displays and optimize inventory. The company provides a planned route and tools to support success on each visit. The schedule is Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. Pay is $35 per visit. The role requires availability during the peak season from November to May, including key holidays such as Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, and Christmas. Employees participate in paid training in flower handling. A mobile phone allowance is offered. Medical, dental, and vision benefits are available to full-time employees. The role involves frequent lifting and moving of boxes weighing up to 40 pounds, bending, stretching, lifting products above shoulder height, and walking or standing for most of the shift.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Ability to read, write, and understand instructions in English.
Reliable transportation to assigned locations.
Internet access and a smartphone.
Availability to work during peak season from November to May.
Ability to frequently lift and move boxes weighing up to 40 pounds.
Ability to bend, stretch, and lift products above shoulder height.
Ability to walk and stand for most of the shift.

Responsibilities

Keep flower displays immaculate and attractive.
Restock and organize flowers and monitor inventory.
Use a mobile device to communicate with a supervisor and report activities.
Interact professionally and in a friendly manner with store employees, managers, and customers.
Prepare stores for peak seasonal demand, including Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, and Christmas.
Set up new displays and make inventory adjustments when needed.
Support teammates with special activities when needed.
