About The Position

Xanitos, Inc. is hiring a full-time Hospital Floor Technician at Flagstaff Medical Center in Flagstaff, Arizona. The role cleans and maintains facilities and locations within a healthcare campus and may involve working in any location on client premises. Duties may vary by account based on business needs, client requirements, and applicable industry standards. The position works a 1st shift from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with rotational holidays and weekends, at an hourly rate of $22.00. The Floor Technician monitors assigned areas for debris and spills; cleans floor corners, edges, and baseboards; dust mops hard floors; removes marks and scuffs; and damp mops or machine-scrubs floors with assigned cleaning products. Project duties include using floor machines, burnishing, scrubbing, and stripping floors. The employee may also perform Area Cleaner or Waste Disposal Technician duties and other related work. Requirements

Pass post-offer medical screening, background screening, and drug testing.
Ability to stand for long periods and meet the physical demands of the job, including frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of up to 50 pounds.
Ability to perform duties involving standing, walking, handling and feeling objects, reaching, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling, and talking or hearing.
Visual abilities including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus, with or without corrective lenses.
May be exposed to chemicals requiring special clothing or safety equipment.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Monitor assigned areas and corridors for cups, spills, paper, and debris.
Clean corners, edges, and baseboards in assigned areas.
Dust mop hard-floor areas, including behind doors and around movable objects.
Remove marks and scuffs from floors.
Damp mop floors using the appropriate assigned cleaning chemical or operate a scrubbing machine.
Use floor machines for assigned project work.
Burnish floors with a high-speed floor machine as directed.
Scrub and strip floors as needed or assigned.
May perform Area Cleaner duties.
May perform Waste Disposal Technician duties.
Perform related work as required.
