About The Position
Xanitos, Inc. is hiring a Full Time Floor Technician for the 2nd shift at Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville, MO. This individual will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining facilities and locations on a healthcare campus. The role may involve working in any location on client premises, and responsibilities may vary based on business needs and client requirements.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent required.
- Post-Offer Medical, Background Screening and Drug Test required.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in the janitorial industry a plus
- Medical cleaning a plus
Responsibilities
- Monitors assigned areas and corridors for cups, spills, paper, and debris.
- Cleans all corners, edges, and baseboards in the assigned areas.
- Dust mops all hard floor areas, cleaning behind doors and moving movable objects.
- Removes all marks and scuffs on the floor.
- Damp mops floors with the proper cleaning chemical or uses a scrubbing machine.
- Utilizes floor machines for project work as assigned.
- Burnishes floors using a high-speed floor machine as directed.
- Scrubs and strips floors as needed or assigned.
- May perform 'Area Cleaner' job duties.
- May perform 'Waste Disposal Technician' job duties.
- Performs related work as required.
