About The Position

Xanitos, Inc. is hiring a full-time Hospital Floor Technician for the second shift at Kaiser Permanente Fischer Crossings Medical Center in Sharpsburg, Georgia. The position cleans and maintains facilities and locations throughout a healthcare campus. Work hours are listed as 5:00 PM to 1:30 AM and may vary, with rotational weekends. The role may also include related duties depending on business necessities, client requirements, and applicable industry standards.

Floor Technicians monitor assigned spaces and corridors, clean and maintain hard floors, and perform floor-care project work using floor machines. The position may also involve Area Cleaner or Waste Disposal Technician duties.

Candidates must have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Janitorial-industry experience and medical cleaning experience are preferred. A post-offer medical examination, background screening, and drug test are required. The role involves prolonged standing and walking, frequent handling and movement of loads up to 50 pounds, and possible exposure to chemicals, fumes, airborne particles, and moving mechanical parts.

Requirements

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the janitorial industry is a plus.
• Medical cleaning experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor assigned areas and corridors for cups, spills, paper, and debris.
• Clean corners, edges, and baseboards in assigned areas.
• Dust mop hard floors, including behind doors and around movable objects.
• Remove marks and scuffs from floors.
• Damp mop floors using the assigned cleaning chemical or use a scrubbing machine.
• Use floor machines for assigned project work.
• Burnish floors using a high-speed floor machine as directed.
• Scrub and strip floors as needed or assigned.
• May perform Area Cleaner job duties.
• May perform Waste Disposal Technician job duties.
• Perform related work as required.
