Floor Tech (Part Time: Mon - Fri, AM Shifts)
About The Position
Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a part-time Floor Tech to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of floors in a long-term care facility. The role includes cleaning, buffing, and refinishing floors in resident rooms, common areas, and offices; safely operating floor care equipment; documenting floor care activities; and reporting maintenance or safety issues. The Floor Tech follows infection control and universal precautions policies and interacts positively with residents, staff, and guests to provide excellent customer service. The stated schedule is Monday through Friday on morning shifts. The starting pay rate is $18.00 per hour.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous floor care experience is preferred but not required.
- Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
- Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
- Lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push or pull up to 50 pounds.
- Stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
- Perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
- Work around food and cleaning products.
- Follow oral and written instructions and perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.
- Reside within the service area.
