About The Position

Join Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) as a Floor Tech, maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of floors in a long-term care facility. The role includes floor care in resident rooms, common areas, and offices, using floor care equipment safely and efficiently. The Floor Tech helps maintain a sanitary environment, records floor care activities, reports maintenance or safety issues, and provides positive customer service to residents, staff, and guests. The position is full time with AM shifts and starts at USD $12.00 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous floor care experience is preferred but not required.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks.
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Be able to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously and daily.
• Be able to work around food and cleaning products.
• Be able to follow oral and written instructions.
• Residency within the service area is required.

Responsibilities

• Clean, buff, and refinish floors in resident rooms, common areas, and offices.
• Operate floor care equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of floor care activities and report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
