About The Position

Join Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) as a Housekeeper in a long-term care facility, helping maintain a clean and safe environment and positively impacting residents and the community. The role performs daily cleaning and sanitation tasks in resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices; follows established procedures, safety guidelines, and infection-control policies; and provides positive customer service to residents, staff, and guests. The position requires routine, repetitive work and the ability to work around cleaning products. Residency within the service area is required. The posting identifies the position as full time with AM shifts.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously and daily.
• Work around cleaning products.
• Follow oral and written instructions.
• Residency within the service area is required.

Nice To Haves

• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks, including cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices.
• Clean and sanitize all areas according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities and report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
