Housekeeper (Part Time, AM Shifts)
About The Position
Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a part-time Housekeeper for morning shifts at a long-term care facility. The Housekeeper helps maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, staff, and guests by cleaning and sanitizing facility spaces in accordance with established procedures, safety guidelines, and infection-control policies. The role pays $17.50–$18.00 per hour; actual pay may vary based on location, experience, staffing needs, and other business factors. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required. Candidates must communicate effectively, follow oral and written instructions, work around cleaning products, and perform repetitive tasks. Physical requirements include lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, pushing and pulling up to 50 pounds, and standing, sitting, bending, and walking for extended periods. Residency within the service area is required, and employees must comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
- Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
- Lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods; perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
- Work around cleaning products.
- Follow oral and written instructions and perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.
- Residency within the service area is required.
Nice To Haves
- Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily housekeeping tasks, including cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices.
- Clean and sanitize areas following established procedures and safety guidelines.
- Maintain records of cleaning activities and report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
- Follow infection-control and universal-precautions policies.
- Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests and provide excellent customer service.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
