About The Position

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a part-time Housekeeper for morning shifts at a long-term care facility. The Housekeeper helps maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, staff, and guests by cleaning and sanitizing facility spaces, following infection-control procedures, and providing positive customer service. The starting pay rate is $18.00 per hour. Pay may vary based on location, years of experience, staffing needs, and other business reasons.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required. Candidates must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks, follow oral and written instructions, work around cleaning products, and meet the stated physical demands. Residency within the service area is required, and employees must comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously and daily.
• Work around cleaning products.
• Follow oral and written instructions.
• Residency within the service area is required.

Nice To Haves

• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks, including cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices.
• Clean and sanitize areas according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities and report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection-control and universal-precautions policies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests and provide excellent customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
