About The Position

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a part-time Housekeeper for morning shifts at a long-term care facility. The role helps maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, staff, and guests. The starting pay rate is $17.81 per hour. Pay may vary based on objective factors such as location, years of experience, staffing needs, and other business reasons. Applicants must live within the service area and comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Be able to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously and daily.
• Be able to work around cleaning products.
• Be able to follow oral and written instructions.
• Residency within the service area is required.

Nice To Haves

• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks, including cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices.
• Clean and sanitize areas according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities and report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests while providing customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
