Floor Tech (Part Time: Mon - Fri, AM Shifts)
About The Position
Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a part-time Floor Tech to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of floors in a long-term care facility. The role performs floor care in resident rooms, common areas, and offices while helping provide a sanitary, welcoming environment for residents, staff, and guests. The listed starting pay rate is $18.00 per hour. The schedule is Monday through Friday on morning shifts. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous floor care experience preferred but not required.
- Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
- Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Able to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
- Able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously and daily.
- Able to work around food and cleaning products.
- Able to follow oral and written instructions.
- Residency within the service area is required.

Responsibilities
- Clean, buff, and refinish floors in resident rooms, common areas, and offices.
- Operate floor care equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain records of floor care activities and report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
- Follow infection control and universal precautions policies.
- Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests and provide excellent customer service.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
