About The Position

The Floor Supervisor is a store leadership role at Tommy Bahama, representing the brand and helping create an enjoyable guest experience. The position supports the store’s goals by working with the team to deliver world-class service, share product knowledge, and exceed guest expectations. The supervisor maintains merchandising and visual standards, sets performance expectations, coaches employees, supports team development, and helps hire and onboard a collaborative team.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of retail experience, including exposure to retail merchandising and visual concepts.
• Experience supervising a team in a management capacity.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• A get-things-done mindset.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills adaptable to a variety of styles.
• Ability to collaborate, identify opportunities, and take initiative.
• Ability to work varied hours and days, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to approximately 50 pounds frequently.
• Frequent bending, stooping, and kneeling; occasional ladder climbing; and standing for the duration of a shift, up to 8 hours.

Responsibilities

• Execute merchandising and visual standards to create a relaxed destination for guests.
• Determine performance expectations, provide coaching, and design internal growth programs.
• Communicate brand direction and share product knowledge about current seasonal trends.
• Hire, onboard, and develop employees to build a collaborative team and drive key results.
• Perform other duties as required to support the business.
