About The Position
Stanford’s Restaurant and Bar is seeking a dynamic and driven Floor Manager to join their team in Seattle, WA. This is a part-time hourly position for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about providing exceptional hospitality. The role involves being part of a dedicated team committed to delivering unforgettable dining experiences.
Requirements
- 1-2 years related experience, including prior supervisory experience
- Food Handler’s permit
- MAST
- Ability to work nights, weekends and Holidays
Responsibilities
- Helps manage the FOH staff including directing work, addressing concerns, and holding staff accountable.
- Assists management with training new employees.
- Monitors the dining area to ensure cleanliness, proper setup, and adherence to health and safety standards.
- Oversees the opening and closing procedures, ensuring that all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Handles customer complaints, conflicts, and emergencies, making quick decisions to resolve issues.
- Ensures all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service at all times.
- Maintains an extensive floor presence to support the FOH and BOH staff.
- Fills in where needed to ensure guest service standards are met and operations run efficiently.
- Performs any and all other duties as assigned.
