About The Position

Lion Real Estate Group is hiring a Floating Service Manager to lead maintenance operations across multiple properties in its Los Angeles portfolio, including Echo Park, Sherman Oaks, and Valley Village. The manager works alongside on-site teams to complete service requests, assist with unit turns, and keep properties operating well. The role combines team leadership with hands-on maintenance and repair work, and includes participation in an on-call rotation to support properties 24/7. A $1,000 signing bonus is offered.

Requirements

• Prior apartment or property maintenance experience.
• EPA or HVAC certification required.
• Strong troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Leadership skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-service attitude.
• Willingness to work hands-on as part of the team.
• Valid driver’s license and an insured, operable vehicle.
• Previous experience as a Service Manager or Lead Maintenance Technician is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a maintenance team to deliver outstanding service.
• Manage daily maintenance operations, work orders, and preventive care.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs involving plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, carpentry, and appliances.
• Complete work orders efficiently and with attention to detail.
• Ensure the community is safe, functional, and well-maintained.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed.
• Provide friendly, customer-focused service.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to support operations 24/7.
• Work with on-site teams to complete service requests and assist with unit turns.
