About The Position

Lyon Living is hiring a Floating Multi-Site Maintenance Technician to support properties in San Juan Capistrano, San Clemente, Dana Point, and Lake Forest in South Orange County, California. The technician ensures that property communities meet the organization’s safety, appearance, and operational standards. The role involves traveling between company-operated locations and may require living on-site. A valid driver’s license or alternative transportation at the employee’s own expense is required to reach destinations in a comparable time. Employees who drive their own vehicle for work must provide proof of insurance and may be subject to a DMV record search. A pre-employment background check and drug screening are required. Requirements

At least 1 year of hands-on general maintenance experience.
Available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, overtime, and on-call duty.
Reliable transportation.
Valid driver’s license and vehicle registration and insurance, or an alternative form of transportation at the employee’s own expense that allows timely travel to required destinations.
Able to speak and write English in an understandable manner.
Employees using their own vehicle for work-related duties must provide proof of insurance; they may be subject to a DMV record search.
May be required to live on-site.
Must complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening.

Nice To Haves

Trade school education or completion of a maintenance training program.
HVAC experience (preferred but not required).
CPO certification (preferred but not required).

Responsibilities

Respond to resident maintenance requests.
Maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness of the property.
Complete assigned repairs to building exteriors and common areas.
Complete unit turns.
Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance installation and repair.
Follow company safety program rules, attend safety meetings, and perform duties safely.
Attend offsite meetings, visit other company-operated locations, purchase goods from offsite vendors, and complete other tasks away from a single assigned location.
Work on-call duty and weekends.
