Floating Service Manager (Apartment Maintenance)
About The Position
Lion Real Estate Group is hiring a Floating Service Manager to lead maintenance operations across multiple properties in its Los Angeles portfolio, in the Echo Park, Sherman Oaks, and Valley Village areas. The manager works alongside on-site teams to complete service requests, assist with unit turns, and maintain the properties. The role includes an on-call rotation to support operations 24/7. The company offers a negotiable salary of $35–$40 per hour and a $1,000 signing bonus. Requirements
- Prior apartment or property maintenance experience.
- EPA or HVAC certification required.
- Strong troubleshooting and repair skills.
- Leadership skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Good communication skills and a customer-service-oriented attitude.
- Willingness to work hands-on as part of the team.
- Valid driver's license and an insured, operable vehicle.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a Service Manager or Lead Maintenance Technician is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a maintenance team to deliver outstanding service.
- Manage daily maintenance operations, work orders, and preventive care.
- Perform routine plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance maintenance and repairs.
- Complete work orders efficiently and with attention to detail.
- Ensure the community is safe, functional, and well-maintained.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed.
- Provide friendly, customer-oriented service.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to support operations 24/7.
- Work alongside on-site teams to complete service requests and assist with unit turns.
