About The Position

Berger Communities is hiring a Floating Service Technician to provide maintenance support across apartment communities in West Chester and Glenmoore, Pennsylvania; Wilmington, Delaware; and Bel Air, Maryland. The technician will typically be assigned to one community for multiple weeks at a time before moving to another location as business needs require, rather than traveling to multiple properties each day. The role involves maintaining apartments and buildings, preparing vacant homes for move-in, caring for community spaces, and providing friendly, professional service to residents and coworkers. The schedule is full time, Monday through Friday, and the posting states there is no on-call requirement while also listing sharing on-call shifts among the duties.

Responsibilities

• Handle service requests and repairs in apartments and buildings.
• Prepare vacant homes for move-in.
• Maintain grounds, amenities, and common areas.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Assist with snow removal.
• Share on-call shifts.
• Provide friendly, professional service to residents.
