About The Position

ACNB Bank is hiring a Floating Community Banking Specialist to provide front-line support and customer service at assigned community banking offices in Carroll and Frederick Counties, Maryland. The role travels among offices in Frederick, New Windsor, and Westminster. It focuses on assessing customers’ financial needs, offering tailored banking solutions, building long-term relationships, meeting sales and customer satisfaction goals, and supporting accurate, compliant banking operations. The position also includes mentoring and supporting other Community Banking Specialists and Associates. Pay typically starts at $20–$21 per hour and may be higher based on previous experience. A quarterly travel stipend is provided.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience in banking or a related position.
Proven success meeting sales goals and delivering exceptional customer service.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
Ability to multitask, attention to detail, and interpersonal communication skills.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Familiarity with the Carroll and Frederick County areas.
Reliable transportation for travel between assigned offices.

Responsibilities

Meet and exceed customer satisfaction goals by accurately profiling customers, delivering tailored solutions, and following Service Excellence Standards.
Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to office-wide sales objectives by identifying cross-selling and referral opportunities.
Follow internal controls and regulatory requirements, minimize risk, and help safeguard against fraudulent activity.
Accurately and completely open deposit accounts, process loan applications, and conduct financial transactions.
Refer customers to other lines of business, including Wealth Management and Mortgage Lending, and collaborate with colleagues.
Travel to assigned community banking offices across Frederick, New Windsor, and Westminster to provide front-line support and customer service.
Assess customers’ financial needs and offer personalized banking solutions.
Process consumer credit and loan applications accurately and efficiently.
Build long-term customer relationships through needs-based selling and proactive outreach.
Stay informed about competitor offerings and market trends to provide customers with valuable insights.
Resolve customer inquiries promptly and effectively while managing risk and regulatory compliance.
Mentor and support other Community Banking Specialists and Associates.
