About The Position

Responsible for daily jobsite deliveries as scheduled and for installing and servicing products at specified jobsites. The position follows standard work methods and company policies and practices safe work habits to ensure installations are efficient and safe, under the direction of the assigned Lead Installer. Daily travel is required, with occasional overnight travel at the company’s discretion. The position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Proficiency with a tape measure.
Verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to understand and follow detailed verbal and written installation and service requests.
Ability to direct questions to the appropriate person.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills, with the ability to carry out tasks with minimal supervision.
Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills.
Basic computer, tablet, and smartphone/iPhone skills.
Working knowledge of required software.
Valid and unrestricted driver’s license.
Clean motor vehicle report (MVR).
Ability to work with minimal supervision, multitask, and work under pressure with tight deadlines.
Professional demeanor, appropriate professional image, and strong customer service skills.
Assertive, motivated, flexible, and reliable, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Ability to sit and stand throughout the day; periodically lift and/or carry up to 200 pounds with assistance, possibly above shoulder level; and kneel, bend, balance, squat, twist, push, pull, crawl, and walk up and down stairs.
Ability to use fine dexterity, talk, listen, read documents, use computers, phones, and tablets, and observe the work environment.
Ability to adapt to changes in customers, environments, and surroundings.
Ability to maintain a high level of safety awareness, including when exposed to varying temperatures and conditions and differing levels of danger associated with power tools.
Daily travel; occasional overnight travel as required at the company’s discretion.
First-shift schedule with varying start and stop times; frequent overtime.

Responsibilities

Deliver jobsite materials as scheduled.
Work with the installation team to safely remove and/or install products to the required standard.
Complete installations according to company expectations and leave each jobsite clean and orderly.
Evaluate scheduled jobs with the Lead Installer and ensure required materials, tools, and supplies are available on assigned vehicles.
Complete installation documents as directed.
Obtain customer signatures and delivery receipts when the installation team has scheduled deliveries.
Accurately complete and submit installation recaps for review.
Notify dealers of job completion by phone or email.
Assist the Install Lead with driving responsibilities.
Maintain the cleanliness of the assigned vehicle and jobsite.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Install Manager.
