About The Position

The Fleet Service Specialist is responsible for the cleanliness, safety, and operational readiness of R&R Solutions’ company fleet, while providing essential support to the mechanical team. The role includes cleaning and preparing cars, vans, heavy-duty trucks, and trailers; performing basic preventative maintenance; assisting Fleet Mechanics; and helping maintain the shop and facility. Work takes place in a repair shop or outdoor garage, with exposure to weather, grease, and loud noises. Mandatory personal protective equipment includes steel-toed boots and safety glasses. Applicants must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Requirements

Strong mechanical aptitude.
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Ability to frequently lift, push, and pull 50–75+ pounds and manipulate large vehicle components.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and crawl continuously in and around commercial vehicles for 8–10 hours per day.
Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Steel-toed boots and safety glasses are mandatory.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred.
At least 1 year of related automotive or fleet experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Thoroughly clean vehicle interiors and exteriors, including bodies and chassis, for cars, vans, heavy-duty trucks, and trailers.
Perform basic vehicle maintenance, including oil changes and tire rotations, and vacuum vehicles to help ensure fleet safety.
Assist Fleet Mechanics with equipment maintenance.
Prepare company assets for employee check-out.
Maintain a safe, organized work area by organizing parts, sweeping floors, and performing general custodial functions.
Follow shop safety protocols and collaborate with the team to meet facility needs.
