About The Position

The Fleet Service Specialist is responsible for the cleanliness, safety, and operational readiness of the company fleet and provides support to the mechanical team. The role is based onsite at the Gravette shop in a professional repair-shop or outdoor-garage environment. Work includes cleaning and preparing cars, vans, heavy-duty trucks, and trailers; completing basic maintenance; assisting fleet mechanics; preparing company assets for employee checkout; and maintaining an organized, safe work area. The role involves exposure to weather, grease, and loud noises, and requires mandatory use of steel-toed boots and safety glasses. Applicants must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Requirements

Strong mechanical aptitude.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Ability to frequently lift, push, and pull 50–75+ pounds and manipulate large vehicle components.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and crawl in and around commercial vehicles continuously for 8–10 hours per day.
Must wear steel-toed boots and safety glasses.
Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred.
One or more years of related automotive or fleet experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Thoroughly clean vehicle interiors and exteriors, including bodies and chassis, for cars, vans, heavy-duty trucks, and trailers.
Perform basic vehicle maintenance, including oil changes and tire rotations, and vacuum vehicles to support fleet safety.
Assist Fleet Mechanics with equipment maintenance.
Prepare company assets for employee checkout.
Organize parts, sweep floors, and perform general custodial functions to maintain the facility.
Follow shop safety protocols and collaborate with the team to meet facility needs.
