About The Position

The Fleet Service Advisor schedules service work in the service department and sells additional services while providing an excellent customer service experience. The role serves as a liaison between fleet managers, business owners, and technicians to ensure customer vehicles are properly diagnosed, serviced, and repaired in a timely manner.

Requirements

Previous Service Advisor experience is a plus but is not required.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Computer competency and basic math skills.
Self-motivated, with the ability to set and achieve targeted goals.
Organizational and time management skills.
Professional, well-groomed personal appearance.
Strong record of positive customer satisfaction results.
Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
Must be at least 18 years of age.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience as a Service Advisor.

Responsibilities

Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Listen to customers’ concerns and accurately document vehicle issues.
Manage service orders and the flow of the Drive Lane, ensuring customers receive prompt, courteous, and attentive service.
Check repair progress throughout the day; contact customers about changes to estimates or promised completion times, explain costs and time requirements, and obtain authorization before additional repairs.
Provide concierge support for owner inquiries by phone or in person to ensure customers are handled appropriately.
Distribute work among technicians according to store policy.
Answer technical questions about vehicle problems, warranties, services, and repairs.
Maintain customer satisfaction scores at or above company standards.
Maintain good working relationships to foster positive employee relations.
Comply with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Perform other duties as assigned.
