About The Position

The Fleet Service Advisor schedules service work in the service department and sells additional services while providing an excellent customer experience. The role serves as a liaison between fleet managers, business owners, and technicians to help ensure vehicles are diagnosed, serviced, and repaired in a timely manner. Previous experience as a Service Advisor is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Listen to customers’ concerns and accurately document vehicle issues.
Manage service orders and the flow of the Drive Lane.
Provide prompt, courteous, and attentive service.
Check repair progress throughout the day.
Contact customers about changes to estimates or promised completion times, explain cost and time requirements, and obtain authorization before additional repairs.
Provide concierge support for owner inquiries by phone or in person.
Distribute work among technicians according to store policy.
Answer technical questions about vehicle problems, warranties, services, and repairs.
Maintain customer satisfaction scores at or above company standards.
Maintain good working relationships and foster positive employee relations.
Comply with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Perform other duties as assigned.
