About The Position

Vitalant is seeking a customer-focused Recruitment Coordinator to support its lifesaving mission by engaging current, past, and prospective blood donors and scheduling their donations at fixed-site locations. The role supports recruitment goals and donation coordination while helping provide a positive donor experience. The coordinator also supports blood centers with recruitment strategies, scheduling, and information about donation eligibility and requirements, and contributes to staff onboarding and refresher training.

The position is based at 210 West Cataldo Avenue, Spokane, Washington. The schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with a stated start date of November 30, 2026. Compensation is $17.13–$18.00 per hour, commensurate with experience, qualifications, skills, and geographic location.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least six months of customer service experience.
• Proficient computer skills.

Nice To Haves

• Two years of customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to enhance the donor experience.
• Engage present, past, and new donors to schedule blood donations.
• Collaborate on specialized calling projects, including conversions, reminder calls, and outreach to first-time donors.
• Support blood centers by implementing recruitment strategies and managing donor scheduling.
• Provide expertise on donation eligibility and requirements.
• Contribute to onboarding new hires and conduct refresher training for new and existing staff.
