Fixed Site Recruitment Coordinator
About The Position
Vitalant is seeking a Recruitment Coordinator to support its lifesaving mission by engaging donors and scheduling future blood donations at fixed-site locations. This front-line role helps achieve recruitment goals and coordinate donations for present, past, and new donors. The coordinator provides customer service, supports donor recruitment initiatives, helps manage scheduling, and contributes to staff onboarding and training. The position is based at 210 West Cataldo Avenue, Spokane, Washington. The schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with a stated start date of November 30, 2026. Compensation is $17.13 to $18.00 per hour, commensurate with experience, qualifications, skills, and geographic location.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least six months of customer service experience.
- Proficient computer skills.
Nice To Haves
- Two years of customer service experience.
Responsibilities
- Enhance the donor experience by providing excellent customer service.
- Collaborate on specialized calling projects, including conversions, reminder calls, and outreach to first-time donors.
- Support blood centers by implementing recruitment strategies, managing donor scheduling, and providing expertise on eligibility and donation requirements.
- Contribute to onboarding new hires and conduct refresher training for new and existing staff.
