About The Position

Camping World is seeking a Fixed Operations Director to deliver customer satisfaction and profitability at a growing Service Center. The role supports and manages Service Managers while overseeing the service department’s performance, team development, vendor relationships, budget, and working environment.

Requirements

Demonstrated ability to ensure high customer satisfaction and profitability in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in a dealership software system such as ADP, IDS, or Reynolds & Reynolds.
Intermediate or better skills in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Ability to read and analyze P&L reports.
Valid driver's license required.
May lift up to 25 lbs and/or move up to 50 lbs with assistive devices.
Prolonged periods of standing, stooping, crawling, and bending.
Exposure to heights and hazards related to working with electrical and welding equipment.
Environmental conditions include heat, cold, humidity, noise, dust, and wetness.

Nice To Haves

Experience managing a high-volume Service Center in the RV, automotive, marine, or power sports industry is strongly preferred.
Knowledge of RVs and RV systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

Support and manage the Service Manager(s) as part of the location’s Fixed Operations team.
Ensure a consistently high level of internal and external customer satisfaction throughout the service department.
Drive profitability through increased sales, gross profit, P&L management, and labor cost control.
Build a high-performing team of Technicians, Service Advisors, Parts Associates, Warranty Administrators, Porters, and Detailers through associate development and effective hiring practices.
Promote a culture of employee development and retention, customer satisfaction, and philanthropy.
Create and maintain strong working relationships with external vendors.
Meet or exceed monthly budget projections.
Maintain a safe and functional working environment.
