About The Position

D1 Training Staten Island provides custom sports training programs integrating sports therapy and cutting-edge coaching in a motivating, high-energy environment. D1 athletes range across the entire age spectrum, including scholastic athletes (ages 7–18), collegiate athletes, professional athletes, and adults who enjoy training in a team environment. Every person who walks through the doors of our state-of-the-art facility is trained and treated like an elite athlete. We are looking for talented and engaged individuals on an independent contractor basis to perform recruiting services for our growing company. As a D1 Recruiter, you are the initial point of contact between the community and D1 — the lifeblood of facility growth and new sales. If you have the work ethic, experience, and skill set to succeed, we want to hear from you.

Requirements

Self-motivated
Sales mentality: aggressive, persistent, low pressure
Grassroots marketing and sales experience
Experience selling consumer service or product
Familiarity with training athletes, their environment and needs
General experience in a gym or training facility

Nice To Haves

Athletic background preferred
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a strong plus

Responsibilities

Sell D1 Memberships (individual, team, and corporate)
Drive Free Trials and Lead Generation
Canvassing and Cross Promotions
Local Business Partnership Acquisition (Corporate Wellness, Schools, Teams, Leagues, Community Organizations)
Create and Attend Local Events as D1 Ambassador
