This position requires knowledge of budget development, forecasting, and variance reporting techniques. The role involves accounts receivable, demanding a minimum of two years of increasingly responsible, independent financial/cost accounting support work experience within a group or team of professional and technical staff. The specialist will also need to understand procedures, policies, rules, and practices affecting the development, maintenance, and control of enterprise accounting systems, as well as rules, regulations, codes, laws, policies, procedures, and ordinances related to cash receipts and disbursements. General office principles and practices are also essential. The role is located in Downtown Seattle and is a 3-month contract position with an hourly rate of $24.26.
