About The Position

The Fine Jewelry Commission Sales Associate serves as the store’s knowledgeable resource for Fine Jewelry. The associate understands the merchandise and educates customers about how products can enrich their lives. The role focuses on engaging customers, identifying their needs, providing product information, supporting sales and credit applications, and maintaining store operations and performance standards.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of retail experience.
• Accountability and a commitment to achieving results.
• Ability to develop positive relationships, communicate effectively, and show respect for different styles.
• Ability to adapt to changing situations with energy and a positive attitude.
• Willingness to take on challenging assignments and address conflict quickly and positively.

Responsibilities

• Approach customers in a friendly manner, determine their needs, and help them make decisions about products or services.
• Explain key product attributes to generate customer interest and build clientele.
• Meet or exceed sales goals through Fine Jewelry product knowledge and customer service.
• Enthusiastically engage customers in support of the Instant Credit Application Process (iCAP).
• Participate in inventory processes, including annual inventory, cycle counts, system uploads, stock ledger activities, and Radio Frequency Identification scans.
• Participate in Merchandise Transfer Out, Return to Vendor, Return to Warehouse, and Defective Merchandise Transfer Out activities.
• Maintain sales floor recovery processes to ensure a clean and organized store environment.
• Support company shrink and safety initiatives.
• Meet established performance standards for iCAP, product and service sales, customer service, profit, productivity, and attendance.
