About The Position

The Operations Associate creates an outstanding customer experience by performing store operations functions. This is an early morning position working with a team to complete operational tasks before the store opens. The role involves customer service, pricing and signing, replenishing and restocking merchandise, receiving and unloading deliveries, maintaining backroom standards, supporting omnichannel activities, and executing merchandise placement plans. The associate also learns about merchandise, shrink, safety, productivity, and other business processes through peers and training materials.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of retail experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and assist customers with questions and requests while performing store operations.
• Change merchandise ticket prices and signage throughout the store.
• Pull and prepare merchandise for the sales floor to replenish and restock products, ensuring customers can find needed styles and sizes.
• Work with coworkers to unload trucks and prepare merchandise in the backroom.
• Keep the stockroom safe, clean, and organized.
• Contribute to omnichannel activities, including Buy Online Pickup in Store, Ship from Store, Order Delivery and Returns, shipping online orders, and merchandise receiving.
• Execute leadership's merchandise placement plans efficiently and in detail, following merchandising standards while moving goods to the sales floor.
• Learn about merchandise, shrink, safety, productivity, and other business processes through peers and training materials.
• Solve problems and make decisions that support sales, profit, and customer service; work efficiently and effectively; and encourage strong performance.
• Provide great customer service, build positive, inclusive, and respectful relationships, and take accountability for actions and outcomes.
• Look for ways to improve the customer experience, act with confidence and urgency, and do what is right.
