About The Position

The Fine Jewelry Commission Sales Associate serves as the store’s knowledgeable resource for Fine Jewelry, using product expertise to educate customers and explain how merchandise can meet their needs. The role focuses on customer service and sales, supporting inventory and merchandise operations, maintaining an orderly sales floor, and meeting performance standards. Compensation includes a 1% commission on sales of qualified merchandise and a 10% commission on Service and Care plans, in addition to the listed hourly pay range.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of retail experience.
• Demonstrated ability to drive performance and hold oneself accountable for results.
• Ability to build positive relationships, communicate effectively with a wide audience, and respect different styles.
• Ability to adapt to changing situations with energy and a positive attitude.
• Confidence in taking on challenging assignments and addressing conflict quickly and positively.

Responsibilities

• Approach customers in a friendly manner, engage with them, determine their needs, and help them make product or service decisions.
• Explain key product attributes to generate customer interest and build clientele.
• Meet or exceed sales goals through Fine Jewelry product knowledge and customer service.
• Enthusiastically support the Instant Credit Application Process (iCAP).
• Participate in inventory activities, including annual inventory, cycle counts, system uploads, stock ledger activities, and Radio Frequency Identification scans.
• Participate in Merchandise Transfer Out, Return to Vendor, Return to Warehouse, and Defective Merchandise Transfer Out activities.
• Maintain sales floor recovery processes to keep the store clean and organized.
• Support company shrink and safety initiatives.
• Meet established performance standards for iCAP, product and service sales, customer service, profit, productivity, and attendance.
