About The Position

The Fine Dining Server at Geordie's in Wrigley Mansion prepares dining and service areas, provides attentive guest service, takes and enters orders, serves food and beverages, processes bills, and maintains cleanliness and readiness throughout service. The role follows WMC service standards, health and safety guidelines, and Arizona State Liquor Laws. It also includes supporting wine service, coordinating with Server Assistants, and completing other duties assigned by a Manager or Captain.

Responsibilities

Stock dining room service areas with clean, ready-to-use equipment and supplies, including silverware, glassware, linen, menus, and salt and pepper.
Set up and tear down POS terminal areas; prepare dining room tables for guests and maintain supplies.
Complete daily opening and closing checklists.
Greet and assist guests; explain specials and menu items, make recommendations, take orders, and enter them accurately into the POS terminal.
Check that food and beverages are properly prepared and served, attend to guest needs, clear dishes at the appropriate time, and present an accurate, timely bill.
Process bills according to cash-handling procedures and follow WMC standards of service.
Direct the Server Assistant as appropriate.
Serve food and beverages according to WMC standards; follow health and safety guidelines and Arizona State Liquor Laws when handling and preparing alcoholic drinks.
Understand the WMC wine list, make recommendations, and serve bottles of wine properly.
Wash and polish glassware, china, and silver; transport dirty equipment safely to the dish area and return clean equipment to the dining room.
Reset tables and arrange tables and chairs according to the floor plan; run food and iron tablecloths when needed.
Maintain cleanliness of the dining room and service and kitchen service areas to meet health code standards; remove boxes and trash promptly and discreetly.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager or Captain.
