About The Position

The Bob’s Steak & Chop House Server at Omni Dallas Hotel is responsible for promptly and courteously serving restaurant guests and supporting a high-quality steakhouse dining experience. The role follows and complies with Bob’s Steak & Chop House rules, policies, procedures, standards, and recipes. The restaurant serves dinner only and is closed on Sundays and most major holidays. The position offers competitive rates, growth opportunities, and health insurance.

Requirements

At least 1 year of serving experience with a quality establishment.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to multitask.
Ability to stand and walk for an extended period or an entire shift.
Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Must have a TABC alcohol training certification upon hire.
Must have a Food Handler certificate upon hire.

Nice To Haves

Prior serving experience.
Prior cash-handling experience.

Responsibilities

Greet guests with a pleasant smile and superior customer service.
Set tables according to the type of event and service standards.
Take orders, answer questions, and offer suggestions about menu selections.
Communicate meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the culinary team.
Record orders in the MICROS system at the time they are placed.
Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and beverage.
Present accurate checks and process payments.
Maintain clean work areas throughout the day.
Clean and set up tables.
Complete closing duties.
Follow and comply with Bob’s Steak & Chop House rules, policies, procedures, standards, and recipes.
