At Bank of America, the Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I) role begins with dedicated training to obtain securities industry licenses, followed by foundational advisor training in acquiring, building, and managing client relationships. The advisor learns to consider clients’ complex financial pictures and guide them with advice and solutions that support their financial lives. After reaching key milestones, the advisor works in a financial center to deliver core banking, investment solutions, and client care. Successful licensed Stage I advisors typically progress to Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II, where they grow and deepen relationships within a client portfolio, with potential to advance to other roles at Bank of America and Merrill. The Academy provides programs, tools, and resources throughout the career journey. This position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements. Employees engaged in residential loan mortgage originations must register with the federal registry system and remain in good standing. The role requires SAFE Act registration, a background check, and completion of the registration process; failure to obtain or maintain registration may result in termination. The position is open across the entire market. The specific financial center location will be determined based on business needs. If offered the position, the employee will train at one financial center and may initially work in a phone-based capacity until another financial center within a reasonable commuting distance is determined, to the extent permitted by applicable law. The schedule is Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays, on first shift, at 40 hours per week.
