About The Position

At Bank of America, the Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I) begins by obtaining securities industry licenses through dedicated classes for the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and Series 66 exams. After licensing, the advisor learns foundational skills for acquiring, building, and managing client relationships, understanding clients’ financial situations, and guiding them toward advice and solutions. After reaching key milestones, the advisor works in a financial center to deliver core banking, investment solutions, and client care. Successful Stage I advisors typically progress to Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II, where they continue developing their skills and growing relationships with a portfolio of clients. The Academy provides programs, tools, and resources for career development, with opportunities to advance within Bank of America and Merrill. The role is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements. Employees engaged in residential mortgage loan origination must register with the federal registry, complete the required background check and registration process, and remain in good standing. Failure to obtain or maintain registration may result in immediate termination. The position is open across the market, and the specific Financial Center location will depend on business needs. The employee will train at one financial center and may initially work in a phone-based capacity until another financial center location within a reasonable commuting distance is determined, to the extent permitted by applicable law. The schedule is Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays, on first shift, for 40 hours per week.
