About The Position

At Bank of America, the Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I) begins by obtaining securities industry licenses through dedicated classes for the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and Series 66 exams. After licensing, the advisor learns foundational skills for acquiring, building, and managing client relationships, considering clients’ complex financial situations, and guiding them with advice and solutions. After reaching key milestones, the advisor works in a financial center delivering core banking, investment solutions, and client care. Successful licensed Stage I advisors typically progress to Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II, where they grow and deepen relationships within a client portfolio. The role offers opportunities to advance within Bank of America and Merrill, with career support from the Academy’s programs, tools, and resources. The position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements. Employees engaged in residential loan mortgage originations must register with the federal registry system, complete the required background check and registration process, and remain in good standing. Failure to obtain or maintain registration may result in immediate termination. The role is open for the entire market. The specific financial center location will be based on business needs. If hired, the employee will train at one financial center and may initially work in a phone-based capacity until another financial center within a reasonable commuting distance is determined, to the extent permitted by applicable law. The schedule is Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays; the position is 40 hours per week and is listed as first shift.
