About The Position

At Bank of America, the Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I) begins by obtaining securities industry licenses through dedicated classes for the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and Series 66 exams. After licensing, the advisor learns foundational skills for acquiring, building, and managing client relationships; understanding clients’ complex financial pictures; and providing advice and solutions to support their financial lives. After reaching key milestones, the advisor works in a financial center to deliver core banking and investment solutions and Bank of America’s approach to client care. Successful licensed FSAs typically progress to Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II, where they grow and deepen relationships within a client portfolio, with opportunities to advance into other roles at Bank of America and Merrill. The Academy provides programs, tools, resources, training, and coaching throughout the career journey. The position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements. The employee must register with the federal registry system, complete the required background check and registration process, and remain in good standing. Failure to obtain or maintain registration may result in termination. The role is scheduled Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays, on first shift, for 40 hours per week. Training takes place at a financial center; the employee may initially work in a phone-based capacity until another financial center location within a reasonable commuting distance is determined, as permitted by law. Specific financial center placement is based on business needs.
