The Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I) role begins with dedicated instruction and study time to obtain the SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 securities licenses (Series 63 and 65 are accepted in lieu of Series 66). After licensing, the advisor learns foundational skills for acquiring, building, and managing client relationships; understanding clients’ financial situations; and guiding them with advice and solutions. After key milestones, the advisor works in a financial center to deliver core banking and investment solutions and Bank of America’s client-care approach. The role typically progresses to Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II after demonstrated success, with the opportunity to deepen relationships across a client portfolio and pursue other roles within Bank of America and Merrill. The Academy provides programs, tools, and resources throughout the career journey. The position requires SAFE Act registration, including registration with the federal registry system and completion of a background check and registration process. Failure to obtain or maintain registration may result in termination. The role is open across the market; the specific financial center location will depend on business needs. The employee will train at one financial center and may initially work in a phone-based capacity until another location within a reasonable commuting distance is identified, as permitted by law.
