About The Position

As a Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I), you begin by obtaining securities industry licenses through dedicated classes for the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and Series 66 exams. After licensing, you learn foundational advisory skills, including acquiring, building, and managing client relationships; assessing clients’ complex financial pictures; and providing advice and solutions to support their financial goals. After reaching key milestones, you work in a financial center delivering core banking and investment solutions and client care. Training and development are provided throughout the stages of the role. After demonstrating success as a licensed Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I, you will typically progress to Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II, where you continue developing advisory skills and growing relationships within a client portfolio. Successful Stage II advisors may advance into other roles within Bank of America and Merrill, with continued support from the Academy. The position is subject to SAFE Act registration requirements. Employees engaged in residential mortgage loan originations must register with the federal registry system and remain in good standing.
