The role focuses on delivering a warm, exceptional in-branch experience by helping members with immediate and future financial needs, recommending appropriate loan solutions, and providing information about credit union services. The position also includes cash-handling duties and requires knowledge of credit union regulations. The ideal teammate is passionate about customer service, has reliable transportation to move among branches, and has good credit.

Requirements

• Two to five years of similar or related experience.
• High school education or GED.
• Cash-handling experience.
• Customer-service experience.
• Sales and cross-selling experience.
• Working knowledge of regulations relating to the Credit Union.
• Good credit.
• Reliable transportation to move among branches.

Responsibilities

• Handle member needs from sales through service to provide an exceptional in-branch customer experience.
• Discuss members’ current and future financial needs, analyze possible loan solutions, and recommend options that address their needs.
• Handle cash-related duties, including teller transactions, vault, ATMs, and audits.
• Provide expertise on credit union services, including IRAs, share certificates, electronic funds transfers, and online banking.
