About The Position

James Imaging Systems is seeking a Field Service Technician to provide service to business clients using document imaging equipment, including Toshiba, Konica Minolta, Lexmark, and KIP Wide Format products. The role involves repairing printers and multifunction devices at client locations, maintaining parts inventory, and delivering professional, responsive customer service. The position also requires maintaining company-provided assets and a professional appearance and demonstrating dependable attendance and punctuality. Selected candidates must pass a criminal background check and drug screening before starting work.

Requirements

Formal electronics training or equivalent experience.
Strong electromechanical aptitude.
Valid driver's license and excellent driving record.
Good time-management skills to manage and route service calls.
Ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to perform some light lifting.
Ability to maintain a professional appearance and dependable attendance and punctuality.
Selected candidates must pass a criminal background check and drug screening before starting work.

Responsibilities

Repair printers and multifunction devices at client locations, including preventative maintenance and emergency service.
Maintain an organized parts inventory accurate to within 1.5%.
Consistently maintain positive, professional behavior and a professional appearance, including clean, wrinkle-free pants and shirts, a belt, and business-style shoes.
Demonstrate dependability, particularly in attendance and punctuality.
Maintain company-distributed assets, including a vehicle, laptop, gas card, and cell phone.
Manage time effectively to route and complete service calls.
Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues in a fast-paced environment.
Respond to client concerns and requests for information promptly and professionally.
Perform light lifting as needed.
