Field Service Technician

About The Position
MasterTech is seeking a Field Service Mechanic in the Sterling Heights, Michigan area. The successful candidate will maintain, diagnose, and repair a diverse line of heavy equipment—including construction, forestry, agricultural, aerial, and mining equipment—throughout the Greater Detroit Area. Compensation is $40.00–$45.00 per hour. The position offers a day shift, Monday through Friday, with a 7:00 AM start time.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic.
- Experience working on various heavy equipment, including construction, agricultural, forestry, mining, or landscaping equipment.
- Understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Experience using diagnostic software such as Cummins InSite, DDDL, JPro, CAT ET, or Service Advisor.
- Valid driver's license.
Nice To Haves
- Completion of a Diesel Technology program.
- Welding and fabrication experience.
- CDL A or B.
