About The Position
General Parts Group is hiring experienced commercial kitchen equipment technicians in the Milwaukee area. Technicians service and repair restaurant equipment at customer locations, including restaurants, hospitals, schools, and commercial kitchens. The work may involve commercial cooking equipment, commercial refrigeration equipment, or both. Hourly rates start at $20.00 and may reach $50.00 based on experience. Experienced candidates may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $7,000. Technicians are encouraged to pursue CFESA training certifications.
Requirements
- Experience working on commercial kitchen equipment.
- Valid driver’s license.
- EPA certification for refrigeration technicians.
- Ability to work independently in the field.
Nice To Haves
- CFESA training certifications are encouraged.
- Experience servicing both cooking and refrigeration equipment.
Responsibilities
- Service and repair commercial restaurant equipment at customer locations.
- Work on commercial cooking equipment such as fryers, ovens, and grills; commercial refrigeration such as walk-ins, ice machines, and reach-ins; or both.
- Work independently in the field.
